Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation –
I hope that you all enjoyed the Father’s Day Weekend. It turned out to be a beautiful day. It’s so nice to have good weather and just be able to walk outside without a coat. The last rains we’ve gotten have made everything so green and colorful. I’m amazed that we’re halfway through June already though. The good weather times of the year get so busy and time just flies by. Were getting many patients coming in from doing lots of yardwork and landscaping and the like. Getting adjusted is very important to keep the nervous system, and the rest of the body, working well and pain-free. Two products that we use a lot with the overexertion is Cataplex ACP and Boswellia Complex. These two nutritional products help the body repair and get over the inflammation from overexertion, not by stopping it or covering up the pain, but by helping the body heal the tissues that have been aggravated. That way you keep strong tissues and they build strength, not adding to more scar tissue with just taking pain relivers. We also use Hemp Oil Complex at times but not everyone tests for it. Hemp Oil Complex is like CBD oil without the THC. It also helps with inflammation and healing.
The article that I’m sending along this week looks at the need to slow down and chew your food when eating. It’s a simple thing but can have a big impact on your health. Everyone thinks that whatever they put in their mouth automatically goes to wherever it’s supposed to and is all good. Not really. The body can absorb carbs fairly easy, which it uses for energy, but everything else needs more effort. As the article describes, eating slowly and chewing helps the body to break down the foods and makes it easier for the body to absorb the nutrients needed for repair, going along with what we talked about in the previous paragraph. At Natural Health, we help patients to get their digestive systems to work better and help them to be able to digest and absorb the proteins, and fats needed for building and repair. We also help get the intestinal acid/base balance where it needs to be for vitamin and mineral absorption. We also work on getting the intestinal flora working correctly. This all helps a ton with helping the body to repair itself, and since were getting the gut to work correctly, brain function is enhanced as well. It’s much more complicated than just eating and hope it all works out. The effort is worth it though with improved health and vitality. This is why we do the Nutrition Response Testing approach to health. This protocol helps to ensure that whatever you eat, and whatever nutrition you need, does actually work towards getting the patient actually healthy, not just pain free.
