Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation-
I hope that you all enjoyed a very nice weekend. The cooler temperatures are welcome, but I hope it doesn't get too cold too fast. Fall is a great time of year, but winter comes afterwards and it's not one of my favorites- ha. We're noticing a lot of patients having problems with sinuses and headaches which I think is due to the pollen in the air from the field corn and soybeans ripening. I know that we had quite a bit of rain earlier, but we could use another good one to help settle the dust and remove the pollen from the air. I'm having patients use a lot of our Antronex product and that is sure helping with the sinus drainage and headaches without using a medication that is hard on the liver. The good news is that this product actually helps the liver to have a higher capacity to drain the lymphatics and get the dust and pollen out of the body so that it doesn't cause inflammation and/or a histamine release. This product is one of the best we've ever found for this purpose and our patients use a lot of it, and the good news is it's just a food to help the liver work correctly with no side effects.
The article that I'm sending along today looks at the connection of good amounts of vitamin D in the body and reduction in skin cancer rates. I don't know how many dermatologists I've seen on different sources talking about staying out of the sun because it causes skin cancer. That is wrong. Human beings have been out in the sun for millennia and we don't all get skin cancer. Just like every other malady, it's got to do with the immune system in that person that fails and allows these cancer cells to get out of control. The sun actually helps the body to activate the vitamin D precursors so that it can help the body with its different activities, not only the immune system functions but many other systems as well. And this is just vitamin D they're talking about in this article. All the other vitamins and minerals are important for good health and a well-functioning body that produces energy and is happy. Vitamin D is an oil soluble vitamin, as are others, and are sometimes hard for the body to digest them out of foods and absorb them correctly. Of course, the liver is majorly involved in this process and if it's all gummed up with junk, like pesticides or artificial colorings, the body is not going to be able to use these vitamin D precursors. The liver is important for many things and it's important to keep it healthy. We have even found a great protocol for the nonalcoholic fatty liver disease problem that many people have but are hidden. With our Nutrition Response Testing protocol, we can find these problems and help a patient to be actually healthy and not just cover up symptoms with medication. Good health is so important to be able to handle life and really enjoy it.
