The Obesity Alzheimer's Connection

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation –

I hope that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. Hopefully you didn’t stray from a good diet too far. We were in California visiting my son who lives there and had a great time catching up. He made a smoked turkey and we all pitched in with the fixings. We came back yesterday to all the snow and cold weather here in the Midwest. The holidays are a great time to catch up with friends and relatives. Traveling can be a pain, and all these things can be stressful. At Natural Health, we help patients regain and maintain actual Health and have a strong immune system, which is important with all the holiday comings and goings. In our travels, we saw folks still wearing masks and I thought people had figured out that they don’t work as advertised from the Covid debacle. The point here is that you can’t fool the body with appliances if the immune system is weak, lacking nutrients to strengthen it. Just like getting a vaccine and thinking that’s all you have to do to be healthy. It’s much more sophisticated than that. That’s what we do at Natural Health, get our patients actually healthy.

The article that I’m sending along looks at the connection of Obesity and Alzheimer’s. The article talks about fat vesicles and lectins and how they cause trouble in brain tissue. The biochemistry gets pretty deep and I’m glad the researchers are having fun diving into that rabbit hole. Unfortunately, they will probably focus completely on that and lose the forest for the trees. My point is that the human body has been taking care of itself for thousands of years. We just have to get back to understanding what true health is and how to achieve it. It’s not by eating anything you want, taking over the counter meds for symptoms, prescribed meds for diagnosed diseases, wearing a mask, getting a vaccine, and on and on. To get really healthy, the diet must be addressed, the barriers that keep the body from healing must be removed, and the body fed with the right nutrients (that are digested and absorbed correctly) so the body can heal itself with the innate wisdom it has used for thousands and thousands of years. If it couldn’t, none of us would be here. Over the many decades we at Natural Health have helped thousands of patients do this so this process of healing is not new for us. We know that life can be hard but that the body can handle almost anything if it is healthy. Folks out there have been brain washed into the paradigm of doing anything you want, getting a prescription for health issues, being symptom free, and the insurance company paying for it. This is not health; it’s disease and symptom management. And it's why we’re seeing Alzheimer’s and dementia units springing up, bigger nursing homes, crowded doctors’ waiting rooms and some of the worst health outcomes in this country. Lots of money is being made but people are suffering.
