Sun, Salt & Gut Health: Summer Wellness Tips You Won’t Hear from Mainstream Medicine

Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation –
What a glorious weekend. Isn’t it great to have the warm temperatures and the green grass and pretty trees and flowers? And what’s even better is that schools out so no bus traffic – ha. It’s a great time of year and I’m looking forward to even warmer temperatures to do some sun bathing and get rid of the gnats. Some folks have a problem with the hot weather, and they are mostly dehydrated – not enough salt for the body to be able to sweat and cool itself. One of our favorite supplements during the summer is Cal-Amo. It is a calcium salt and really helps with hydration as an electrolyte source. So many people have been hoodwinked by the mainstream medicines constant bad mouthing of salt. They never tell you that there is a difference in Sea salt or mineral salt and the junk white salt in processed foods or on restaurant tables. A good way to tell if you need more hydration in the warmer temps is if you start feeling really weak or if you notice muscle cramping. We use a lot of the Cal-Amo mentioned above to stop cramping immediately. And as a side benefit, the Chloride in the Cal-Amo help the stomach produce HCl to support good digestion of your food.
