Hello Everyone in Natural Health Nation –
Another great weekend and some more rain. Rain is kind of inconvenient at times but it’s always good to get it. I’m sure we’ll have plenty of dry and heat as we start into summer. Please don’t forget about your hydration as the temps get warmer. That means lots of good quality water and don’t forget about the electrolytes, or salt. Sea salt or mineral salt is good for this purpose, not the processed white table salt. The minerals in sea salt or mineral salt help the body use the water correctly, helping to maintain fluid balance in the body. Just drinking loads of water can actually deplete the body of these needed minerals and you will feel very tired and have muscle cramps. We use a lot of our Cal-Amo product in the summer which is a calcium salt. It really takes care of the cramping and tiredness fast.
The article that I’m sending along this week, talks about the use of antibiotics and how even with short term use, can mess up the normal intestinal flora and cause gut issues. Long term and chronic use of antibiotics makes it even worse. In my mind, this is why kids are having more problems with degenerative disease, because they are subject to all kinds of antibiotic use. The kids, and their moms, are not educated by mainstream medicine on how to keep the immune system strong, like eating sugary cereals every morning thinking it’s healthy, and taking them to the doctor with every little sniffle or complaint. It’s a great business model for the clinics, but our nations health is suffering for it. At Natural Health, we work with the bodies innate wisdom to keep the body healthy and not need antibiotics. We also help promote healthy gut bacteria and monitor gut health through our muscle testing ability. This way we can quickly decide on what the best course of action is to promote better health. I think that it’s safe to say that we all want ourselves, and our kids, to be healthy and enjoy life. Unfortunately, the healthcare statistics are showing us that America has some of the worst health outcomes in the world, so there needs to be a change.
We need to educate patients on what promotes real health and get away from the mainstream model of eating junk and waiting for an illness to treat forever. This is what we do at Natural Health, use tried and true health wisdom to get our patients healthy and keep them there, and educate them on prevention. Gut Health is very important to the health of all the systems of the body. Just treating symptoms with medications is only for symptom relief and not about real health. It’s no wonder then, that as the gut health gets worse, then we have more disease and cancers and the like. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
