A Strong Foundation

Welcome back, Natural Health Family.


What a time we live in. Where the world has so much going on, and it is all at our fingertips. Today, we have access to so much information, to entertainment, to distractions, etc. Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to see all the news and things going on in the world and around us. That is why it is important to be stable in our own being and to not be pulled in so many directions. 


Have you ever heard the phrase, “ a great defense is a good offense”? It expresses the idea that a strong defense not only can stop the opponent from scoring but can also make plays that gives them the ability to have the offensive to score. This is a great analogy when it comes to our health and lives. How many times do we let things outside of us pull our energy and attention during the day or week? How much of our energy is spent on useless conflict, bubbles of irritation, or worry of the worst case scenarios? When will be the time when we say enough is enough. Now more than ever it is important to be stable, to have a strong foundation, not only for our own health but to be examples for those around us and the next generations to come. 


We all have 24 hours in a day. We also all choose what we want to give our energy to and how we want to use it. When we realize what takes our energy, we then can take it back and become stronger and more resilient in the process. So, I encourage you to respond differently, to have a strong defense, and to take back your energy.
