when we think about creating a strong foundation for individual health—and the health of the world—a great question to ask is: “Is it helpful?” With all the information we’re exposed to in the media and in our environment, it’s important to learn how to discern what’s truly beneficial for our health.

Welcome back, Natural Health Family.

It still looks like summer out there, and we’ve been blessed with some good rains.

Many of us come from different upbringings and backgrounds when it comes to health and healing. So when we think about creating a strong foundation for individual health—and the health of the world—a great question to ask is: “Is it helpful?” With all the information we’re exposed to in the media and in our environment, it’s important to learn how to discern what’s truly beneficial for our health. This isn’t about being on constant high alert, but about questioning not only the information we’re told now, but also the beliefs we may have grown up with—and seeing what truly helps us. Let’s explore how this one simple question can help us live healthier, happier lives.

I recently read an article that I’ll try to paraphrase. It was about someone who wanted to gossip. He asked another person, “Did you hear about so-and-so?” The other person replied, “Does it pass the three T’s?”

First: Is it True? The other person said, “I’m not sure.”

Second: Is it Good or Kind? The other person said, “Absolutely not.”

Third: Is it Useful? The other person says, “Not really.”

So he decides he doesn't want to hear it or accept it.

Why do I bring this up? Because I think it’s a great way to assess health and what we want to accept from the world. With all the information out there, we must be able to discern and accept what is actually helpful and useful to our health. What can support us and that we can use to build ourselves stronger. To realize the power of our bodies and what they are truly capable of rather than choosing to just accept what the media says or what we may have been told.

This is a reminder that we are powerful. We can choose health. And with the right support, we can live a healthy happy life.

Thanks for reading.
