Is it in your control?

Welcome back again, Natural Health Family.

I hope everyone had a great weekend filled with some fun or you got some projects completed. Today’s topic, I hope, will bring you some sense of peace or realization. I know that we all go through times where it seems like it won’t work out, or that everything is going wrong. This can lead us to think that we need to control everything, because if we don’t, then it will all fail. However, what if the opposite was true, and not only that, but helpful for our health and wellbeing.

Have you ever planned a vacation or an adventure of sorts? Did it all go to plan? Or did it seem like the more you tried to force things to go a certain way, that is when things didn’t go right? Like, when you wanted something to happen, it seemed like the adventure was no longer there, but another task to do? This is similar to an athlete who trains hard for the game or event ahead. All of this training is leading them to perform what they need to at the right moment.

However, if during the game, they try to force it to go the way they practiced, it falls apart. It is because they are trying to force or control the outcome, rather than letting go and allowing the game to be played. We too can do this from time to time in life, which leads our body and nervous system to be in a state not ideal for health and healing. This state is important in some instances, but when our bodies are not able to reset or become free of this state, then we need to practice another way.

Life has a way of teaching us many lessons if we can slow down and see them. With that said, it doesn’t always have to be a teacher, but it can be more of an adventure, and you can find a way to embrace the unknown. As we do this, it allows more things to unfold and can lead us to experience this life more fully.

Have a great week.
