Welcome back again Natural Health Family. Spring is here and we can see the changes we see every year with new life all around us. The grass is growing, flowers are blooming, people are playing outside, kids are on their bikes again, etc. All though the tv show ended, the movie is over, the situation that we have tended to is done, life moves on. Just like nature, let’s keep moving remembering that life goes on. Let’s let go of the resistance of what has happened, might happen, what could have happened or can happen and start to allow life to unfold in new ways.
Have you ever noticed how animals seem to know what to do and when to do it? It seems like they are in the right place at the right time. Why so? Perhaps it is because they utilize their inherent ability to instinctively know what to do. They are not trying to figure things our but rather they sense something that “tells or show” them what to do. Somewhat like when an earthquake is going to happen that cows know to move to a certain area for safety or when some person is suspicious that a dog knows that they are up to no good. These animals are using instinct to know what is going on. When it comes to us of course we have many more obligations, responsibilities, and to dos that need to get done. We also have a much larger frontal lobe (a part of the brain) that allows us to reason. This can be good but also can be disruptive at times when always in our head. At times we need to learn from these animals and to feel that instinct or trust in that intuitive nature that we all have to help us in our lives. Many people think that we need to always reason and think about every way it needs to occur. However, we may not be able to know all the options so sometimes it is important to trust, allow and let life help guide us.
Wherever you are at in life I am sure you have some struggles and challenges to overcome. It is important to have a plan and to move forward, but also to let life flow more and allow it to help us. The question I would have you contemplate is “what if life is supporting me in every area, could I allow it to help me”? Have a great week.
