Self Regulating

Welcome back, Natural Health Family.


This will be a short one today, but a very practical one at that. Today let’s talk about how the body is a self healing and self regulating system and what we can do to enhance this process. 


Stress comes in different forms, emotional, chemical, physical. We can tell when we are stressed by the way we feel. You fall down off a ladder, you are going to feel the injury. When there is tension due to an event that happens in life, we feel it. Now, we all know that we can have stressful times some big or small. When this happens sometimes we are not able to process it or we still hold on to it as a “shock” in our bodies. When the body is healthy it is able to regulate all the systems in a natural way. However, this “shock” can be what is impeding the body to regulate itself which can lead to health issues. So a helpful exercise for the week is when you start to feel this similar feeling again, acknowledge it, don’t go to overthinking, but breath in a slower rhythmic pattern. Let your body start to calm and reset. Then go about your day. Just a little practice everyday can lead to big shift in your life and energy. 


It is amazing what are bodies can do and what they are truly capable of. However, sometimes we all need help and when we are equipped with the right tools and understanding, we can allow ourselves to experience life in a whole new way. Thanks for reading and have a blessed day.
