Christmas Spirit

Welcome back Natural Health Family.

I hope everyone is doing well or on their way to feeling better. It’s the season of Christmas and the holidays, so naturally, I’m sure many of us will watch a few movies associated with the season. As I watch these movies nowadays, I see them a bit differently than when I was a kid. It’s like reading a good book many times over and gaining something new from it. The movies tend to have a similar theme in them all. It’s funny, but many things in our lives can be our greatest teacher or our worst adversary, based on the way we view them.

Who doesn’t like a good Christmas movie? There are many out there, and we all have our favorites. When you watch enough of them over time, you will see a general theme. At first, you get to know the characters and the background information. The people gear up for the holidays. They want to make the holidays special and will do all the things necessary to make them that way. Then, a big problem arises, and they hurry to find the solution, only to make things worse. As they strive to make everything perfect (the way they think it should be), nothing goes right. So then they give up, and they realize that what they thought was so important really is not. The main character then sees what is really important, after they slow down and let it all go.

Have you ever strived to do it all right, but everything just became a mess? Sometimes, we can get caught up trying to do so much while getting lost in the world. As soon as we slow down, we see life in a new way. We let go of what the world tells us is so important and realize what really is, even if it’s right in front of our faces. Have a safe and wonderful Holiday Season.

Have a great week.
