If It’s Not Broken, Don’t Fix It

Welcome back, Natural Health Family.
We have been blessed with some great weather as we head into Spring. With spring comes changes, some big and small. When it comes to our health, sometimes we can fall into the assumptions of sickness and illness that society and our culture get entangled with. People tend to think that people just get sick and have health issues, and that is just what it is. However, we can forget so easily that Health Is Normal and that sickness is the outlier, even though society can try to persuade us otherwise. What if your body already knew how to be well, but it just needs some help, and for us not to interfere with this natural process?
Last week, I was using my computer and trying to click on certain tabs with my mouse, working on patient files. After a while, it seemed like I needed to press the mouse harder and that the mouse wasn’t working well. I started to think, “What is wrong with this mouse? It must be old, it must need new batteries, it must have a problem with it.” But then I noticed it worked better if I used it in a new location. Then it dawned on me, it’s the connection. When the connection from the mouse to the computer was blocked or interfered with, it wasn’t able to perform its designed task well. However, when it was restored, it worked much more efficiently.
So when it comes to our own bodies and health, is it so much that our bodies are broken, that there is something inherently wrong with it (like we may be told), or perhaps it is something much simpler.
Our bodies are amazing and are the most sophisticated, intelligently designed “machines” in the world. They are bioelectrical supercomputers that, when a proper connection is restored, can bring about the normal process of healing. So a question to ponder is, am I limiting this process somehow or am I taking the steps necessary for it to work as it was designed?
Have a great week.
